All the video and graphic content is my work. From 2023-2025 I led a full visual overhaul of vineyard branding. Website revamp and redesigned print materials (labels, menus, brochures). I established a cohesive aesthetic for both online and on-site presence, improving customer engagement.
Val's
Hard Cider
Logo . Label . PS Composite

For Val's logo I selected a structured font, then added hand-drawn elements to create the feeling of an apple's stem with leaf shoots.
For this branding project, I combined a photograph of the property where the Empire apples are grown with various images sourced from the web. This Photoshop composite serves as the backdrop on the label and aims evoke the experience of stepping into an orchard and discovering a charming little farmhouse.

The last step was creating a cohesive design for the logo and background that reflects the spirit of this hard cider. I visited a liquor store to find bottles that embodied the "feeling" of a German Beer Hall. I noticed various common elements in the labels that appealed to me. Drawing from this visual inspiration and with thoughtful consideration of the information hierarchy, I developed the logo you see here.

Hot Ron's

Logo . Label . Sticker
This was a straightforward project, but the concept was enjoyable. The product: home-grown Trinidad Scorpion peppers blended together with spices to craft one of the most flavorful and spiciest hot sauces I've ever experienced. I wanted to showcase the visually distinct pepper in the imagery to reduce the amount of text on the logo, allowing it to effectively work as a sticker. Finally, I incorporated a skull to symbolize the spice level. I used colors that felt both acidic and subdued to capture the mellow flavor.

Upstart Comics
Logo . Video Explainer . Sticker

I created a website for my comic group in Kelowna, British Columbia. We met weekly at the library to collaborate on comics. With a mix of writers and artists, I aimed to establish a visual identity for the group as well as a website that served as a great platform to showcase our work and connect with each other and our follower.

"Paper Rocketship" was the prompt for the logo.
I used a CMYK color scheme because we work in a printed medium.

I wanted the logo to combine a professional aesthetic with a vintage charm, creating a distinctive visual identity. The carefully selected typography evokes a of nostalgia while maintaining modern clarity, ensuring it stands out in any context.

A bit
about my
PROCESS
Comics start with a script that forms the foundation of the story. Artists work closely with the writer to create thumbnails—small sketches that outline the comic's layout. This visual interpretation allows the narrative to take shape, leading to the final artwork, inking, and color that brings the comic to life for readers.

Toggling layers on and off enables me to quickly explore various ideas and layouts, making the brainstorming process both efficient and enjoyable.
